Apex for financial services

Fees you can trace from the transaction to the invoice.

Banks, insurers and wealth platforms bill for activity: transactions processed, accounts held, assets under administration. Every fee has to be explainable to the client and to an auditor. Apex meters the activity, applies the fee schedule and keeps the record that shows how each charge was calculated.

Yours

Your fee schedules stay yours.

How you price each client relationship is a commercial judgment. Apex is set up to your schedules and keeps your data in your own environment, where models run on it without it reaching a frontier model provider.

01

Your schedules

Modeled as negotiated.

02

Your environment

Data and models inside it.

03

Your controls

Approvals and audit as your policy requires.

Agents propose, people approve

The agent drafts. A person decides.

An invoice review agent flags a client whose fees moved sharply from last period, with the events that explain it, before anything is sent.

Every agent stops at an approval gate until it has earned its way out of one. Nothing releases cash, commits spend or touches a customer without a person saying so.

Your dataModels that read your data run inside your environment, behind your firewall. No client data reaches a frontier lab.

Start here, keep the foundation

Start with one function. Add the rest without starting over.

For a financial services firm, metering and billing for one product line is a good first function. Clients, invoices and payments come into your Ferrata foundation from the ERP, so adding contracts or revenue schedules later uses the same records.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

What does Apex bill for in financial services?

Activity-based fees: per transaction, per account, per seat or as a share of balances, with tiers, minimums and commitments as your fee schedules define.

Can every fee be audited?

Yes. Each charge records the events counted, the contract version and the calculation applied, and every change after that is logged with who approved it.

Where does client data go?

Into your own Ferrata tenant, one database per company. Models that work on it run inside your environment, and no client data reaches a frontier model provider.

Does Apex meet our regulatory requirements?

Apex gives you the records and approvals; whether they meet a particular regulation is for your compliance team to judge. Ferrata works with them on the controls during setup.

Can we keep fee calculations out of the model's hands?

They already are. Rating, billing and revenue schedules are deterministic jobs. Models only draft reviews and explanations, and those wait for a person.

How do clients see their fees?

On the invoice, with usage detail, and in a customer portal that verified contacts can open.
